Prices & Logistics

The Hallig of Oland is accessible from the town of Dagebüll by narrow-gauge railway on the causeway at low tide (tide calendar) and in good weather, subject to construction and maintenance activity.

Thus it is imperative that you make arrangements with us in advance.
We will bring our railcar from Oland to pick you up.

By car: Contact us in advance, and we will arrange to open the gate so you can park your car near the narrow-gauge terminal. It is not possible to drive to Oland.

By train: The “Dagebüll Mole” train station is served by Deutsche Bahn and NEG. The walk to the narrow-gauge terminal takes about 15 minutes.

There is no grocery store or restaurant on Oland.
Nor is there a bank or ATM. There are no shops at all. Order food and drinks in advance (delivered on fridays) from Biokiste »Lebendiges Land«.
